Published on 09/07/12 at 15:50This is a very nice pedal footswitch with two buttons and 4 settings.
Incorporates a boost pedal (Blue LED very pretty) and overdrive (including the filthy red LED is the image of the effect).
It's easy to use two effects, overdrive with a classic setting (tone, volume and gain), which is to boost, well, one knob is perfectly sufficient elsewhere.
On paper it looks good anyway ...
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use, I do not have the manual but I do not need, only someone who really does not know what an effects pedal can be wrong in its use.
SOUND QUALITY
While there, BIG BIG black dot ==> What is this weird overdrive 80% of its food? At first the sound is good, a second later, it is to swallow before he could actually be heard! Clipping a monster to me frankly drunk! Some find this limiter is not disturbing for me I was frustrated at not being able to leave a note full well!
On the other hand the boost is simply excellent ... it must be enabled in order to continually landing slightly short of breath of overdrive. But then, my interest in this pedal and can use each alone, I have taken any overdrive pedal or ...
Shame ... shame!
The sound of boost saves slightly average.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it for a day when I noticed this problem clipping, direct back to the seller who told me that this limiter is normal and that it was not a fault of the pedal as j ' believe dared hope.
A huge missed, especially a friend of mine has the boost (short) in the MXR is perfect in situations like this though!
Try it if you like Boost already sound dirty, but to go from clean to overdrive, go your way ... This pedal is unusable!
I put 0 for no boost anyway!
