Best value:
Excellent
What are the effects or types of effects available?
versatile analog overdrive, it ranges from simple clean boost up to limit distortion.
UTILIZATION
Editing sounds and effects is it easy?
bah, it's not a fighter, you go al ear and there are good sounds quickly, it is plug and play.
The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
yes, there is everything that you need to know at the same time 4 buttons ...
pedal, however, is provided in addition to instruction 2 pick and one sticker well likeable (I would have liked to have the small cover at the Catalinbread more ... but hey, I do not have too much quibbling v the above).
SOUND QUALITY
The effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
then we enter the heart of the matter, if you are looking for transparency, life in overdrive, c is won.
I have it compared to a MXR M77 Custom Badass Modified OD and ben there is no picture between the two, the mxr although very flattering at first, s proves unworkable once a delay and reverb engaged, a big lack of medium and 100hz button sound more disgusting that other thing ...
the walrus, c is the opposite, the settings for bass and shakes are very reactive, the pedal goes very well with large delay (Catalinbread ECHOREC for me) and you can easily get out of a mix without having to push .. . more once the pedal assembly is open to absolute cleanliness.
OVERALL OPINION
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
bah the mxr, Catalinbread, home made ... and walrus to me is exactly the kind of overdrive that I wanted.
How would you rate the quality / price?
hey it is expensive, but the quality is well.
With experience, you do again this choice? ...
yes of fact, I think the rest of the test range.
