The BB preamp is a boost / overdrive Xotic who joined the family. Are already available RC Booster (booster clean) and AC Booster (booster / overdrive). The BB preamp is the "fat" of the band. UTILIZATION
Use one does little more simple, adjusting the gain overdrive rate, the volume adjusts the output level and low settings and add or remove treble bass and treble, a pedal could not be more of this classic side there.
SOUND QUALITY
Then there attention is the slap. I have several pedals "boutique" home Keeley or Analogman and BB Preamp is a good step up. I use it in two ways.
