Bought on eBay for $ 24 microphone there a few weeks. In all, 50 euros with a return shipping cost for TWO microphones of exceptional quality.
Dream 90 is a P-90 the size of a humbucker.
I have achets to replace the original pickups Ibanez Artcore my AF75D. I wanted a vintage sound reminiscent disk Dylan Nashville Skyline kind, with this little country twang, I wanted to also be able to get the kind of rhythmic What the Byrds (Listen to Mr Tambourine Man, for example) or even solis George Harrison.
Well that is exactly the mission perfectly fulfilled by these microphones. but beware: they do it really well, but do THAT a. Amateurs large distos of drooling solos and humbuckers: go your way. These microphones are clear, clear, almost crystalline. When adding a bit of distortion, there is almost nothing going on, just the sound begins fluter in the treble. Then, by increasing the gain race, we ended up getting a beautiful twang, which leaves many in the treble. The bridge pickup ets even more clear that serious, but the bass is really very hot. Microphones separately have some hum (not normment either) ... but the intermediary position reproduces the sound of a humbucker and is therefore extremely quiet. I had a pair of these pickups, finish "gold".

Firstly, Aria TA40 mounted in a copy of Gibson ES335. Very good sound, typed single coil with the power and the "fat" and more. As good handle on that bridge. But I'm tired of this guitar after about a year, it gave its too typical for my taste.
I gave them a second life on a homemade guitar, thinline style, alder body, maple neck and maple table / rosewood and there I took a slap! The sound I wanted! Typical Strat (with alder) but more punchy and bright. Very soft to handle playing on the pitch without being garish and nervous at the easel.

Then of course it all depends on taste, but I think a Strat is to be tested.

In any case, I've never been disappointed at GFS products (microphones or other): very good products at competitive prices.

Purchased for just over $ 30, plus $ 10 shipping, this microphone is a very serious alternative to models of brands like Seymour Duncan (Phat Cat) or Kent Armstrong.
Despite its low cost, this microphone is not one of those "gadgets" that are sometimes found at the waning of the visit auction sites ....
Like all GFS pickups, the product comes carefully packaged in a small ten days, with its outline, screws and springs, and the wiring diagram (not very useful in this case we must admit!) .
The visual appearance gives an impression of seriousness, my ears will confirm after installation (on a Epiphone DOT to replace the original bridge pickup frankly dull).
There are readily specifiable grain of P90, the character "tough" as soon as you attack a little strong, with an output level therefore (because remember that the P90 are single coils), all ( icing on the cake) with very little "hum"!
The game on the fingers is a real treat, the answer is straightforward and precise attack a bit "tough" will cause a nice "crunch", ideal for the Blues!
Having mounted this guitar a P90 of a brand more "prestigious" position "hose", paid three times this, I tell myself that I could have substantial savings: While there is a difference, but an instrument of this type, low noise difference does not justify the (very) high price difference!
If I had to make another choice, it would definitely GFS (I set up this brand of lipsticks on the guitar from a friend: stunning!)
Therefore, price / quality ratio = 10 and overall score 9 (there are better, for sure, but at what cost ..........)

I bought to upgrade the pickups on my Ibanez AK85 half body: all satisfy me on this guitar except the pickups.

I am playing jazz, soul and blues.

I wanted something really vintage sound bright and twangy half cash, in the minds of Chank ryhtmiques of the first James Brown funk and jazz as my scratch prfer Grant Green.

I'm really bluff by the quality of these microphones is not the first pickups I ordered from GFS, and frankly even if they taient three times the price I would choose the same thing. No other brand offers such microphones in these finishes, and especially its quality!

In a casserole boogaloo rhythm or solo on a thumb bossa, it's perfect every time (yeaaah the rhyme). In my opinion such a solid body LP's got to be the ZE for reggae ... short tip top. They have a good output level crunchent but really little, which for me is a benefit standard: just the little grain it takes.

of course! in fact, the model "neck" of which I speak ici.je have ordered by mistake instead of "bridge" (I ordered then ...) in one week I received the neck and squeezed, I installed (without 1/2h bp). it is intended to improve the sound of my cheap guitar ear "invader" style lp junior.et well ... it does it well! accurate and teeth, for 30 euros postage compris.en addition, it also enhances the look of the guitar! bridge? too lazy to Demount so for now it remains in its box ...
