Hello everyone !!
I use xtr400 for 2 years.
The sound of the sub is very soft, very round by the volume of cash and descends very low frequency, however, its size is not an advantage for transport. The sound system is very good quality, no buz, clear sound, in short, the asset has its purest !!! The sound is very linear spectrum has a large share creu to 100Hz.
I tried a lot of time between model and I'm not disappointed in xtr400 moin and yet his rapprot price / quality more than satisfactory.
With experience I will ever be choice for fixed installation but not for displacement because the power / size of the sub is not interressent.
Le13 \ 04 \ 06, I now owns a Sub + RCF speaker system amplified 1600Wrms malgrés and whether the very high end, I continued to advise the XTR400 !!! BTW in a small music room type basement at home, the XTR400 be better suited as powerful speakers and high end. on the other hand in service, there's no pictures Gemini quickly limited.

This will make 3 years I use this system (more for my cost only for personal soirres) QualitPrix but the report is good (not exellent!).
But what I find even when high frequencies are too aggressive a high power and low purr too, they are too Submitted.
In contrast, the satellite power is 160 W Programmable! Their real power is only 85W RMS, 230 W RMS for the subwoofer. Believe me, 1) I have Demont and is marked on the HP and 2) will see on the website of Gemini http://www.geminidj.com/xtr400.html!
Therefore a good system to start, with good fishing, energy and housing .... a bulky and heavy!!
The exprience tell myself that next time I bought a HK Audio Power Powo works because it is a lucas 600 MK1 is half price !!!!!!!!

I am a user of the XTR-400 for almost a year. I am very happy with the price / quality ratio is really interesting.
How does it sound?

The housing is high performance, and down really low (35Hz).
The satellites are correct, their sound is soft (not as aggressive with some speakers equipped with compression). A high level is significant. The sound is detailed, and in this regard attention to sound sources: the low quality mp3 sound bad with the XTR. This is a proof of quality of sound reproduction system! consider using CDs or mp3 to 192K or more, you'll appreciate the details of the music.

Of course the carpet is less black 'style' of the textured paint LUCAS ... Normally, the price is lower.
