I used this material for a bit more than 1 year.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Before and even ttemps use of this material I used in system "sub + satellites" equvalent, RCF, the FBT, the dynacord of PhaseSonic of MacMah of Wharfedale, HK ELIAS first version and now still in my possession, Bose (LineArray) and Pyrit.
Type of use and / or frame in which this material was used?
Use of this material for sound to the acoustic group, type the trio in September and on music typed jazz, acoustic folk ... or PRESTAT DJ ... etc.. indoors and / or outdoors.
What is the particular feature you like best and least?
more:
-Good balance system ... Two subs plus two heads that go great together and give a natural balance of powers (good internal quality filters) following musical styles with sound of course.
Natural audio quality of the system, close Hifi (so to speak) .. so it is quite simple to take control of the set for a novice.
Cons:
Justly filters! well filtered for an amateur but too filtered for professionals.
What makes you to not really hands on what comes out in front ... and it is as frustrating as it is complicated mix and really put his "foot" on the record of its facade in the end ... typed as its too ...
Weight and volume ... very heavy for the promised power is also not reached I think .. (comparison made with FBT or RCF, and even then in my possession PYRIT announcing the same or slightly more ...)
plus it is too large and poorly studied regarding ergonomics, so super complicated to wear and it takes place ...
-Robustness ... less than a year PRESTAT ... direction service for a sub ... amp smoked ...
How would you rate the quality / price?
With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Value for money .. I find very very expensive system for the "real" power system .. and the audio output on the front ..
However it remains good material still not be too hard, although I am very very disappointed for the purchase price (especially the purchase price!)
So .... no! I probably do not remake this choice ... especially if I had known that a system like PYRIT (I suddenly I kept in place since and is still running today), give me power (sound pressure) higher (in real test! ! asking the two equivalent systems in a stereo PRESTAT (one on each side of the stage) ...
and more ... well ... ultimately a very similar sound quality when you know how to work! (Has more than half the price of new ... it makes you wonder ...
To me (and this is just my opinion on ... well some amateur friends likes HK ... so made your experience even before you make a decision ... and do not take my advice as word of gospel ...!), HK is no longer what it was and maybe even worse .. and that's a shame.
