I used Lucas 1000 for 2 years.
I made this choice because of the space, power bass ...
I used it in a group with a cello, acoustic guitar, vocals ...
The sound is not very late .. and it lacks a lot of presence in the lower midrange, low cut filter is not adjustable, it is particularly crippling for brass, cello, male voices, or we lose a part of the spectrum of heat, making up almost incomprehensible voice ...
I changed for YAMAHA powered speakers 450 w, the power ratio, sound quality is much higher than for a slightly higher price ...
I had the opportunity to listen to techno parties, drum n 'bass or lucas 1000 gave entiére satisfaction for me avoid this type of configuration group ..
