Novation has just introduced the new version of its MIDI controller, the Launchpad S.
The Launchpad S has the same design as the original MIDI controller, with its 64 multicolored backlit pads and 16 buttons (volume, pan, sends, solo, mute…). Enhancements take place under the hood, with faster refreshing rates, brighter backlit pads and an architecture opened to third-party software. The controller is USB-powered for mobile use.
The Launchpad S controller is MIDI Class-Compliant, and can be used with any Mac and Windows MIDI software or with the iPad using the Apple USB camera kit. For instance, you can use is with the FL Studio Performance mode to trigger clips and control features.
The Launchpad S ships with the Ableton Live Launchpad Edition DAW, the Novation Bass Station synth and a loop and sample library by Loopmasters.
