PEQ v2 is an equalizer that features three parametric sections with Butterworth high-cut (400Hz – 20kHz) and low-cut (20Hz – 1.4kHz) filters with a 12dB / octave slope.
Each parametric section (20Hz – 340Hz, 80Hz – 2.4kHz and 600Hz – 16kHz) includes a 15dB boost/cut control and frequency bands are variable between 1/3 and 3 octaves more less or more pronounced effect.
This new version has a revamped input/output circuit with a balanced output on 1/4” jack (the 1/4” input is unbalanced) ; a two-way switch now manages the bypass and BugBrand refined the adjustments for extended frequency and Q ranges.
The PEQ v2 is mono and powered by a universal 12V external supply. BugBrand even provides different plugs for the different countries.
15 modules are now available for sale for the price of £190 excl. taxes at www.bugbrand.co.uk.
