All user reviews for the Gyraf Audio Pultec PEQ1A Clone

An equalizer design only renames (the famous Pultec) with a passive qualisation passive RLC circuits based on output and Tagus dot (for me) in a 6922 Mount SRPP coupled LUDAHL a transformer output. The connection is complte the project (XLR + Jack). Two bands paramtriques adjustable frequency drives (if it seems minimal) extremely effective with rglages boost (BOOST) or attnuation (CUT) + rglage quality factor of filter (bandwidth surlaquelle more or less fine bands of frequencies. I think what makes her uniqueness is always natural color of the sound that comes out (in reasonable limits of course). It qualise dnature but no sound.
I put 9 out of 10 for mine can be improved (but this is to taste and every budget).

UTILIZATION

The configuration is very simple and puts the advantage to trust his ears and not the numbers (think rglage a plug in to computer vis a vis the equivalent hardware). The sounds can grow or develop the characters of the sound.

SOUND QUALITY

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 weeks and I do not particularly spares. It takes up 350 euros for a Pultec and believe me it's worth it. Part mcanique if the front panel is factory I guess not pose too many problems otherwise, I suggest you dport potentiometers (with son). Report quality unbeatable price. Yes I do it again this choice. I also compared the RALIS qualiseur calreq, two devices complmentaires trs (trs calreq the right and the Pultec rather round, finally, if vs see where I'm coming) .
