SOUNDS
It's very simple: there 's the midrange! That is what was expected, and what mediums!
I have Dynaudio BM5-A (5 times the price) and the other day a friend who is sound engineer, pointed out to me a sax, in one of my pieces, alternately listening to the 2 pairs of speakers from a central station: the sax was the same! Suddenly, passing on Avantone, there was neither the brilliant treble muffled or low round, but just the midrange, with good dynamics.
It can therefore realize the balance of beats in this register (200Hz-6 or 7 kHz, roughly), releasing their stamp to better judge.
It especially allows to listen to his mix without much more flattering, for sure! You know the old saw "if you get to that sound on it ... etc". Ben is not true!
I put 9 because they fulfill their role with a very good without being exceptional in their class
OVERALL OPINION
Nice little boxes, pretty heavy, beautifully painted in cream good vintage, well constructed, well finished ... The connectors are pro, nothing to say.
I have barely begun to exploit them really, but I feel we will get along!
The contract is expected to fully completed, and they are prettier than I expected, so ... 10!
Ah yes: I feed them with an amp THE T. AMP S-100, and it works very well is the right power and for that price, I recommend it!
