Price, and the connection between EgoSys Audiotrak, specifications

CM: ASUS-Deluxe P4P800E / CPU: P4 Prescott 3.2 / Ram: 2 GB / 72 GB U320 SCSI to IDE PATA for an audio system and an IDE SATA 1 for the rest

A mixer Soundcraft Spirit FX16, I used to transfer the direct input signal to the sound card.
I put 8 because there are DAC / CAD higher quality and above all there is no gain control on inputs 4-8 (9 and 10 are digital and programmable 1 and 2)
Note that the DirectWIRE is spectacular!

If I rack serves as the best real-time effects 3ms. Usually with 16 tracks 96kHz/24bits real-time effects on each track and latency to 256 samples I set to 8.3m
- How many tracks you get to record / play time? ...
Recording 10 tracks with no problems (8 analog + 2 digital). Reading it should be possible to get 64 tracks without too much difficulty. It depends on the project
I put 9 because you can always ask for more.
