I bought this sound card to record my guitar, my bass and voix.Son low price and large number of entries (can be used in mixer) have motivated my choice. I use this card on a computer medium power (256MB of RAM with an Intel Pentium VI 1.2 (or 1.4) MHz). I use an amp simulator (Jonson J-station) between the instrument and the card that I use as a preamp ...
UTILIZATION
Although the publisher's website does not work, it's easy to find the latest drivers on the web. Installation is fairly easy, I did not encounter major difficulties. You still have to report the latest drivers with the outputs of the PCI have summers off, there is no need to struggle to connect their speakers to the output "line out" ...
GETTING STARTED
I have no problems with drivers, thus why try to update software already almost perfect (apart from to add bugs )? I use this card with Cubase 4, I do not have figures for latency in mind but it is totally impossible to distinguish ... I have not tried to record several tracks simultaneously on the other hand ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 month. What can I say except that I do not regret my choice and I would do it again without hesitation. To summarize:
Assets:

Easy installation (/ \ I am talking about Windows, Linux and Mac appears this is not the same story ....)
Perfect sound
A large number of inputs and outputs which lets you use it to mix table (well, everything is relative, do not expect an acoustic drum plug it ...)
A driver interface very easy to understand and use ...

Cons:

The manual, but given the simplicity of the thing is true that it is not super important ...
Mac and Linux compatibility
