- What technical specifications motivated your choice?
Both pramps microphone, many of the MIDI incorporated the price.

I had only a, incompatibilities ...
On OS X Panther, has passed yet, but the MIDI does not work, driver problem.
Moreover, when the computer goes to sleep, the sound card s'teint, and no way to restart, you have to restarting.
When I pass on Tiger, same problem, but the fact that the sound card will be colored because of the previous day caused the crash systmatiquement the computer.
Since I put Tiger version 10.4.11 day, the sound card does not work carrment more, and kills the ds mac I'm trying to use it.

Macs drivers do not work, or very little ...
- Are they often put day?
Last update in 2004, and I guess they will do more for Mac.
- What software do you use most often?
Digital Performer
- What you get lag?
Not measured but acceptable. Teachers when I put the effects in Digital Performer quite heavy, but I guess it's no card!
- How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment? ...

- How long have you use it?
I tried to use it for a year and a half, but I give up, it really works more in the latest version of Tiger. Under Leopard, I imagine not even ...
During this time when I even do some recordings with Russi, and when it works, is going.
- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
I like the number of entries and opportunities to offer. The sound is adequate.
I do not like (apart from problem to read Mac drivers): the fact that the XLR is not screwed to chssis just soldered to the motherboard, a fragile normment connections, and I have to unplug my habit of Cables after recording finished ...
- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
No.
- How do you report qualitprix?
I bought occas 170 euros last year. For what I have done, and seen the dysfunction, I put 40 euros. So, I find plutt bad.
- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...

I'll sell it to buy a FIREPOD, I am a sr that will work on my Mac, at least.
In conclusion, this card may be good for PC users, but never of ST Audio prtendre it could run on Mac.
The lack of MIDI oprationnelle, the problem of extinction irrversible when the computer goes to sleep, then crashes and violent systmatiques since I pass by the Tiger makes perfectly useless.
I often return to the small between Stereo mini jack on the back of my G4 tower to record ...
So Apple users, go your way without hsiter.
