Peavey has presented nTouch, a range of touch-screen devices for controlling MediaMatrix audio systems.
There are currently two models available, the first being nTouch 60, a wall-mounted control panel with a touch-sensitive screen for selecting options from an audio control application. Housed in a brushed aluminum case, it features a 2.4” (60mm) screen and control knob for adjusting individual settings, like volume. The nTouch 60 works in conjunction with an nControl unit. The application running on the nTouch 60 is designed and managed using NWare.
The second device is nTouch 180, a wall- or console-mounted touch-screen control panel for controlling MediaMatrix audio systems. nTouch 180 has a 7” (180mm) screen and runs an embedded version of NWare Kiosk, which allows the user to control an audio project designed in NWare.
