Published on 08/06/03 at 15:00Purchased brand new at Steve's Music in montreal for 1500$(can), 750$ for both head and cab
It can be played at 25, 50 or 100 watt, it means you can play it in your bedroom and it wont sound louder than that little prastice combo, but the sound gets real when pushed to 100 watt. 3 channels, clean, lead and ultra. And 3 switchable styles on each channel like vintage warm and modern... there is also a damping switch wich u can set to loose medium or tight.. i dont see a lot of difference between the 3 options... but all in all, u have like a hundred different sounds!!! it is unexpensive, and all solid state so it will never break, no warming up... its loud and it fits all styles.
the footswitch is difficult to use, its small.. but u get used to it
it is not too heavy, it looks fantastic, the back of the head is made of cardboard... it looks solid
dont listen to those rich kids who tell u that tube is the only option, the real thing.. solid state is great, u cannot get anything else that sounds that good for that price.. LONG LIVE SOLID STATE
