Gwendal-Ark
« Simple, robust, fast »
Published on 09/25/12 at 19:46I use this pedal for about ten years (I was a kid, I remember well). I have not played for long periods with other pedals, but I could feel a bit in rehearsals all brands in the entry level (pearl 122 double gibraltar, tama, mapex ...) and a few 'iron cobra.
She did not fail in more than 10 years of use. Still all original parts, no game, no noise if the fat correctly. I use to play a bit of everything except the metal, but I amuse myself quite worked up to the blasts, which brings me onto my favorite is swift and responsive. Probably not a pedal di level provided for the extreme stuff, but far more swift than the double entry level pearl example. It immediately from underfoot.
What I like:
- Lightness
- Robustness
- Flexibility / velocity
At this price range input is frankly a great pedal. I would do that choice for sure.
I put 10 keeping in mind that this is an entry level, do not compare to the DW 9000 or other axis.
