Instrulent sampled

Although this is not "perfect" is probably one of the best pianos available for GigaStudio.

Designers have taken more than two years to refine the registration of samples!

Personally, I find that the transition between the sample and the strong mezzo forte is sometimes brutal on some notes ... But even if we reached not quite the same as when we made that decision on a Steinway good sound system ... It comes close! (And all those who - like me - do not necessarily afford a Steinway, the local and the equipment to record it, appreciate ... ;-))

In short, overall the quality is really there.

Unlike all other pianos that I have - or that I tried - for Gigastudio, his sound is really full and bright.

The most interesting is that the resonances generated by the sustain pedal depressed are available separately.
Clearly we have a program containing the piano, and a program containing the harmonic resonances (which are triggered as the notes played with the sustain pedal down).

The trick is to assign these two sounds on one MIDI channel. Then simply adjusting the volumed tracks between them, can then choose the "presence" of the resonances from the natural sound.

This is done two months I use this piano. The result is very compelling. I have a lot of piano for GigaStudio, but this is the only really usable.

For the price ... I recommend it to anyone who works with the sampler of Tascam.

Tip: The sound goes very well with the PSP PianoVerb reverb ... Which is a plug-in VST Freeware!

Hi all!
