Pitchproof, the new freeware by Aegean Music, is a VST plug-in for Windows 32 and 64-bit that combine a pitch shifter to an harmonizer.
With Pitchproof, Aegean Music tried to emulate the classic harmonizer pedal effect for guitar.
The simple GUI features a Blend knob to mix dry and wet signals, while a second Detune knob will help you get a more natural sound. Below theses knobs, a Pitch combo lets you choose between the available harmonics/pitches and Key sets the…key (can’t it be more logical).
At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find additional options such as CPU resources management, stereo operation or a Transient Fix function that can be turned off in case of glitches.
Note that the center part can be used as a tuner.
