The Ircam Lab TS had been in public beta version for a few months (see this news). The standalone software is now ready, but the Windows version is still not available.
TS uses a SuperVP advanced phase vocoder engine as well as analysis and synthesis functionality from AudioSculpt in order to transpose/pitch shift WAV and AIFF audio files up to 300%. You can also record directly to the software.
The Ircam Lab TS also includes siders for changing formant, transient, sine and noise and sculpt the sound, so it also allows for sound experimentation and design. Ircam also included a Shape Preservation mode for vocal transformations and the software can be MIDI controlled.
Last, the result of your transformations can be bounced offline to WAV and AIFF at 16, 24 or 32-bit.
The Ircam Lab TS has a regular price of $249, but you can purchase it now for only $99. More info at www.plugivery.com.
