Published on 12/18/13 at 11:02Installing Linux is automatic since it is present in most software repositories (it says it requires JACK but it is inevitable to computer music on Linux). The particular configuration at noon and keyboard commands is very simple.
It lacks a bit of French doc but Linux Mao summed up the essentials.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I use a laptop with Ubuntu Studio 04.12 with 4 GiB of ram. I have a Core I3. My sound card is a audiobox Presonus. The software is lightweight and it runs very well. Sometimes a few crashes when you hack to excess, nothing embarrassing.
OVERALL OPINION
I do not have much experience with the looper but from what I know is best Linux. That appreciates most is the efficient support of JACK (creation / O for each loop + two inputs / outputs two general) which opens up endless possibilities and ease of control by pedal / keyboard ...
