Prosoniq has updated the free NorthPole filter plug-in to the Apple AudioUnit format for Mac OS X.
This selectable LP/BP filter plug-in is designed to bring back the sound of the analogue era to your AudioUnit production environment – still for free. Released as a VST plug-in in 1997, this filter was the first free VST plug-in to be available, according to Prosoniq.
NorthPole is a free effects plug in for AudioUnit compatible applications on the Macintosh. It adds a programmable virtual analog synthesizer filter with resonance, envelope follower and an integrated post-filter digital delay to your audio production environment.
