McDSP and Propellerhead announce the availability of the Rack Extension edition of the FutzBox lo-fi effect plug-in for Reason.
The FutzBox allows for generating 10 modes of distortion, Lo-Fi section and a SIM section (Synthetic Impulse Modeling) can create radio, telephone, walkie-talkie effect and more (more than 160 possible effects).
To create the effects, the FutzBox employs an EQ, filters, a noise generator, a gate and you’ll find in this Rack Extension edition CV inputs to control addition settings. The outputs can send the wet/dry signal mix. Last, you’ll find a selection of presets to help you get started with the app.
The FutzBox RE is available at shop.propellerheads.se/product/futzbox/ for 65 €. The AU and VST plug-in version for Mac OS X and Windows for the other DAWs is still available at mcdsp.com in both native and HD versions.
