In September 2013, Audiffex announced a new series of Studio Line processing plug-ins, it is now available with three virtual effects.

The Studio Line series currently features three plug-ins, the STA Phaser, STA Flanger and STA Chorus. These virtual effect racks are based on physical circuits and composant modeling, however Audiffex says that you won’t find in these plug-in the exact replica of a particular device, for several units from various brands were used to create them.

All the plug-ins use the STA technology (Summing Tube Amplifier), which mixes dry and wet signals and adds non linear distortion for a vintage result. A “Wet Only” option is also available, it will only send to the output the signal processed by the tube circuit. With these two options, you can use the plug-ins as insert effects or in a send buss.

Last, note that the three effects feature a GUI with color options, which allows you to distinguish the different instances when using them in multitrack projects in your DAW.

The STA Phaser, STA Flanger and STA Chorus are available in VST2, VST3, AU and RTAS formats for Mac OS X and Windows 32 and 64-bit. They have a unit price of $19. More info and purchase at www.audiffex.com.
