«  practical and versatile, indispensable for me »

Published on 07/05/12 at 08:36
15 years ago, there was the Sony Minidisc portable recorder as practical. What progress since, both in sound, design quality and value for money products on the market. The Roland R-26 is still distinguished from others in my choice.

How long you use it?
I use it for one month

Did you tried many other models before buying it?
I have tried almost everything I think about this type of product: Zoom H4n H4, Tascam DR-40 and Dr-100, Olympus Ls-100

What is so special that you love the most, least?
The +
* The side transportable anywhere
* The very neutral sound with my NT5 connected to it.
* The quality of internal microphones
* The touch screen is not a gadget
* Easy to use menus
* The ability to let the camera look a little sensitivity as the quad-capture of the same brand.
* The impression of strength

The -
* Size can be relative to Zomm H4N
* No battery but NIMH batteries (not good with phantom power) or use the transformer supplied
* The software supplied Sonar X1 (well it's up to me)
* The price of accessories

How would you rate the quality / price?
very good for this size of equipment. Just one caveat perhaps for the lack of battery to really do without the current.

With experience, you do again this choice?
Yes, of course.
