- What is so special that you like most and least?
I purchased this product for portable recording. Its ability to 20GB (40 GB verion H340), the included MP3 encoder is perfect. Recording with microphone (or the radio live, not bad that!), Outside and even line-in.
The battery is internal, a charger is provided. Isolated for travel, you can also buy an external charger for AA batteries (15 euros).
I do not like is the doc, very poor, with few specifications. I have done with the microphone: the microphone is in fact suitable for a micro computer type, condenser with phantom power. My Sony ECM-907 is perfectly suited to the MD (1000 ohms impedance), is finally available with a Sony product, and I have to find a preamp in addition to that which is included to increase the gain!

No, for now, it's a pretty unique product, we are already almost over ...
- How would you rate the quality / price?
In Europe, it's expensive. In the U.S., it already is much less (200 euros with the exchange spring 2005). But we must do so by someone back, because between the shipping and customs, it's the same ...
- With experience, you do again this choice?
When I found a good microphone to go with is the choice: IPod It makes you normally, with the radio, and more, you save all you want, and replace the MD ca. Finally, with respect to the MD, it works as a USB key, then to download the sound files, it takes a few seconds. Those familiar with the MD to see what I mean ...
If you want to do the trip, reports sound, there is no such thing.
