Line 6 StageSource L3t

The Line 6 Stage Source L3T is a 1400 watt PA speaker (3 way), it has 2 ten inch low frequency drivers and a 1 inch high frequency driver. Like the L2T it supports the “smart speaker modes” and digital networking. This is basically the more powerful version of the L2t, the sounds are very similar as far as quality but the overall sound on this L3T is so much more powerful and big. This speaker can handle being in a bigger space and even outdoors (in some conditions).
The L3T can be pole mounted, or used as a floor wedge. It does weigh almost 60 pounds making it plenty heavier than the L2t. Obviously this one cost more than the L2t but I do recommend getting this speaker over the L2t because the price differences are not that much. Also the frequency range on this speaker is much better being 40 Hz to 19 kHz with a crossover frequency of LF1 at 250 Hz, and LF2 at 2.2 kHz to 7 kHz. This powered monitor has a big enough sound to handle almost any venue that you put it in. I have used a set up before that had a few of these together and it sounded very big. It was actually one of the best systems that I have heard in a long time and we were in an auditorium that held about 800 people but it was still a big space with high ceilings and these still sounded amazing.
Like the L2t this monitor has the intelligent system or smart speaker modes. You can use this speaker as a speaker for a live band, or as a PA speaker for someone giving a speech. It sounds great either way and I really enjoy working with these monitors. They work together well and complement each other good too.

Bought a little cheaper than commercially Outlet.
I use it for 3 months, and 1 repeat concert for the moment.
I play the electric guitar, acoustic, harmonica and I sing (hearts).
The guitar goes into a pedal emulation of the same brand, pod HD500x, I connected the two with under the effects line6 digital link. The speaker automatically turns on setting emulation electric guitar.
The acoustics at the first input and the microphone vocals / harmonica on the second.
I prepare his home and more surprises or plan galleys repeats or concert.
Live, if the scene is small, I use it as an amp, direct to the public, behind me. If the scene is bigger, I keep back and OUT goes on the table.
It is very convenient to transplant on the table, I can turn up the volume of my return, the output volume to the table does not change, it's super comfortable.

One downside, when I go to the acoustic, it's really important to engage the emulator acoustics, the sound is much better. Then you have the board on "emulator electric", the enclosure becomes optimized for power (tweeter almost cut). It is not expected to pass from one to the other easily live, we have to look to find the right button and not be wrong. Live is blowing. I think back to the acoustic preamp directly on the table.
Incidentally, it is 26 kg, it has a good grip. It's still heavy on the stairs

This compact powered speaker is very convenient to use and provides a rendering rather satisfactory. But basically, the manufacturer used a trick not very honest to "inflate" the value of the power output, a figure which unsuspecting customers are sensitive priority. Indeed, the power amplifier is measured in watts called "effective" (or RMS in English) is the only official unit, which should allow to compare products of different origins.
Some manufacturers cheat by giving powers called "peak" (peak power in English), a unit that does not mean much except commercially, and is often considered equal to 8 times the real power (or effective). Net result: an amp sold to produce 1600 W does actually about 200 W effective.
This is the case for the speaker LINE 6, for which the manufacturer indicates "clear" it is watts peak but not dwell on what it means.
This fact is confirmed by the indication of the electrical power consumption of 250 W from the 220V mains, the figure of 250 W is silkscreened next to the electrical outlet. But an amp can deliver power "signal" than his power, which proves that the Line 6 amp can deliver more than 250 W of power. It is therefore likely that the real power is around 200 W, which is not bad but far from the figure announced in the pub.
