How long have you been using?

A little over a year, pair used (like new with covers) € 1500 purchased the pair in August 2011.

I use them in mobile disco with a pair of RCF Sub 705-as (I plan to go on the 905, because for me the 1600w low of 705 do not follow enough of 1500 W 712, even if I put half the volume knob ...) for private parties (weddings, ...) but also small outdoor evenings.


What is so special that you like most and least?

Most: power (it grows!), Manufacturing quality and listening, light weight, but also the possibility to fix the bridge easily with a single hook, ...
The cover is also very convenient.
Least: nothing!

Did you try many other models before buying it?

Chinese and China, including the A30 at long AudioPhony. In short, nothing to see. What's on this is that since I work with RCF, I've had compliments from clients or guests on the sound quality, which I never had before ...

I also compared these speakers with JBL EON 315 (425 watts): 300 watts of Art 712 are really there, but I especially noted the superior listening mediums on the RCF, with incomparable the JBL. The bass is also more prevalent, despite the 15 'of the JBL.

How do you rate the quality / price?

Very good, given the quality, and I think (I hope!) Longevity ...

With experience, you do again this choice? ...

Without any hesitation, especially since I have not listened to the 715 or 725, but a priori the best way to pass the 712 ...

Voila, I own this place last week, what bliss ...

Before, I had the speakers Eminence (Master NSX Pro-Europe) and RCF ART 315A.

What I was looking for: An active speaker with
- Under 20kg piece
- Enough power for 500 GP in the evening (with 2 subs and more) with room for up to 25m long
- From a reliable hardware brand recognized
- Something small
- Usable without boxes to 200 to 300 people (weddings ,...)
- From 15 or 12 inches for the voice
- A practical ergonomics
- A beautiful design.

Well I'm used to all these points.

Ample power, much more powerful than 15m above the ART 315A. Bass much more present. 17kg, what happiness for my back. They are beautiful and practical. The 3 handles, connectors simple but complete. I use two Nexo LS1200 driven by a Crown MA2400, just happiness.

The sound of the midrange is impressive. The voice goes very well indeed too much. On the djembe is a true pleasure ("click").

Negatives:
They are light but I tried to find ...
- Light wind in the tweeter, as in all amplified and not at all bothersome
- A little too much treble high level for my taste. A quick and eq is no more about it!

A speaker manufactured in Europe which is more ... If you have a good price, go for it!

Here, four months later I have my two ART 712A which is down. The two previous evening, he had the hiccups (intersecting for 1 sec every 3 minutes). Then this last night, it was completely cut off after a few hiccups. No LED lights and the fuse is not burned. He left this July 30, 2010 at VAS. Stay tuned, I hope that RCF will show the speed and quality of its customer service and the extent of my investment is well justified ...

I use these speakers for 3 months, not bad for benefits, a true happiness.
I went through everything and anything before arriving at these nice toys
I totally agree with the advice of Sisi, which sums up my feeling pretty well what he can do with these speakers.
For mobile disco, they're just perfect weight level is unbeatable, and his level ... we want more.
I often use a sub 905AS parallel printer into ... it's just awesome.

Value for money despite the unbeatable prices for all! The covers are expensive but especially handy, I do not regret it!
