In fact it is an enclosure that serves as my scene, back, hey it's not the big power, but for such use bien.C'est not suit me very upscale finish I suspect that the components of are certainly not the same as on rputes pregnant, but I prefer to treat the front.

Tries? yes and no, I dmonstration store cost for all other models but much more expensive or larger. I was looking for a small PA system for solo performances and nothing satisfied me at the price-quality space. Be silent sacrment prices for abuse of miniaturization is the speaker excs Pharaonic power. I have found no comparable product.

The enclosure 129 euros (+ 4 with the attachment) ... 80W + 50W bi-amplified ... its clear, clean, good quality ... sr is that we are not in the sound of high quality but trs srieusement is good and even better given the price.

Thomann product purchased from the Internet a month ago. Great product considering the price (129 €) the powered speaker.

What I like least: no carrying handle
What I like most: manufacturing quality and sound. I put my Ovation electro acoustic directly above. The sound is slamming, accurate with great compression. Available from low in feedback even at 20 cm from the speaker.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
This is the first time I use amplified speakers. I intend to use The Box PA108A (I have two) as a floor for our electro acoustics.
How would you rate the quality / price?
How to say. € 129 uro a pregnant slap like that. That's incredible.

I bought a pair at Thomann ( https://www.thomann.de/fr/the_box_pa108a_aktive_fullrangebox.htm ), 129 pice, with 2 pole socket 5.

Primary use: Return of scne possible ground on its plastic feet provided https://www.thomann.de/fr/the_box_pa_108_monitorfuesse.htm (I prcise because I had bought 2 pairs .. . for nothing).
- The plastic feet are quite fragile. Without them, the return is not properly inclined. With, one is 45.
- The performance of all is correct, and the pressure level obtained is more than enough as a return (I measured 105 dB (A) 1 nitre with pink noise and the knob half). A trs high level, if low pose problem, the filter 120 Hz can avoid saturation and to regain its own.
- This speaker sounds trs neutral. Highs are not shrill. It's a real titanium tweeter with a diaphragm 20 ( https://www.thomann.de/fr/diaphragma_fuer_pa_300_p.htm ) and not a piezo moter 3.

Secondary Use: Montes feet on a box and associated it serve faade for my small sound systems.
- For once, the sound sounds too neutral (compare my Peavey 500XT) and I have to climb a bit sharp.
- The mounting Systm ( https://www.thomann.de/fr/the_box_sth108_bk.htm ) requires hex screw 6 Point 3, which takes 5 minutes each time.

Dj I worked with Yamaha STAGEPAS Systm 300 ( https://www.thomann.de/fr/yamaha_stagepas_300.htm ), whose speakers have the same character just prs characteristics. I could compare the two on my last concert. These PA108A sound much better in the treble, more down in the grave and are much more powerful that the system Yamaha 500.

I had the speakers really compact for any return to the car.
Otherwise, I would have chosen the MODEL PA110 that corrects default thereof:
- No fist transport (it is necessary for the tranport one by one, only to 9kg).
- No socket for speaker stand.
- Low high level a bit messy (I think the amp can "ease" the power of the PA110 25 cm).

The report quality price seems excellent. These speakers are really well finished. It does not feel like using the "Made in China". See the rest held in the long term.

I must continue to buy m'quiper deuxime a pair of returns.
I will estimate the amount I have left in the car. If the PA110 can go, then I would spend the MODEL from above, otherwise I would buy a new pair of PA108A.

DJ and I am looking for a compact and efficient return.
I dreamed of the PA 106 but it is not amplified.

I have a board and a Pioneer EFX Soundcraft branch to which I return.

First to default out of the box the lack of grip. It is pretty heavy amp requires (9 kg): phew! So you catch the bass reflex vent.

I plugged into the CCC of my DJM 400 and using a Y cable to RCA jack and mono XLR XLR connector to reach the AP.
I turn on the whole. I landed on my desk before the authority. The size is perfect. Neither too large nor too small. Thank you the 8 '!

She has a real look! A mini speaker sound system!

The sound is fairly neutral. Only listened, obviously we want to climb a little to the bass and treble eq (it's a 8 'eh ....). But the sound was very good. Bi - amp 80 + 50 w rms.

I like the button that the filter at 120Hz, when my practice box cover entire bottom of the spectrum. (And she will appreciate that take care of the rest!)
The volume buttons, bass and treble are very
seriously. There's even a connector Line / Mic.

I push a little while (not too much in the apartment!) And ouhaou .... ago level. This is where we see that it is a true small PA speaker with an 8 'serious and a real engine 1'. Thomann announces 116 dB which is already too far back (about 1 meter enclosure of me!)
Look forward to using this with my release: I think my mix will become more precise!

Thomann for 125 euro, 3 year warranty built, what else ?????

edict of May 17, 2010:

I just made my first evening in DJ applications.
Program, birthday party with background music, karaoke and DJ entertainment.
AP 108 A was connected to the monitor output of my Soundcraft console. I therefore independently manages its distribution volume of my room.
I had installed on my left almost to the ground.
This is nice not to hear that the bass from subwoofer!

With a return, earn mixes really accurate because the midrange and treble can calibrate more precisely the tempo as well as EQ. That's cool!

In karaoke, it allows me to have the back room of the 3 pickups and better balance the voices (PFL activating the mics on the console). I was surprised how little feedback from my microphone (Thomann Beta 58). May be at ground level, is ideal as an investment?

Really a good choice for back DJ!

I just did a birthday party with family. Unable to bring my classical diffusion, I brought only the PA 108 A I connected to mono output table, and I am connected to the subwoofer present (Home Theater, Cabasse). The PA was positioned vertically to allow the sound of many "fill" the room of a house.

Well I was once again amazed by the performance of the PA 108!
It is clear, punchy and makes a fairly significant.

I think even now that the PA 108 A lot better sound (level and quality) that my Powo satellites.

At all good this PA 108 A!!
