It is a prampli / case ID with a little EQ, an adjustable overdrive, a tube emulation (to imitate the "heat" of a lamp), a "boost", an amp emulation. ..

I use it to record and as a preamp / DI scne.

in connection there are two jack inputs on two DIFFERENT channels (with -10 dB pad option if your instrument too potato), output jack, XLR output, a send / return for effects loop.

If you plug one low, one can use one channel A (with a clean boost), or channel B alone (with overdrive is not mandatory), and switch between each other with a big switch very tough .

Or if you have a A + B button to use both at the same time: In this mode you can switch between the A and single A + B = boost + overdrive (and I do the smile of Jack Nicholson Shining: D).

We can use each channel sparment or together, we connect two basses at the same time (successfully tested with a collgue bassist) on one of A and a B.

It's heavy, sturdy, but holds in his hand (and I was offered the power supply 'sector purchasing). Very easy battery change without tools in 10 seconds (same system that clip on the most active low). The finishes are impeccable, the knobs and switches are professionals.

UTILIZATION

If we take 10 minutes to read the manual trs is simple. The routing is clearly explained.

My purpose in buying it silent in the decision-her home studio: low active> Microbass> sound card> Logic Pro.
Well conclusion it works VERY WELL!

Since I use it also as a DI scne high-end direct to the table, a ring!

Easily obtained a good, deep, rich, we can rgler with precision. Can be assayed as one wants his bass, his AIGS, have a clean sound or a nice overdrive (Russi frankly as it has its own rglage frquences to choose which it acts).

I have no breath! (But not really!) In same industry (must say that I use good cables too, help).

SOUNDS

All styles should comply because the sound of the bass, all aspects of its adjustable, versatile, lots of routing options.

test with a Musicman Stingray (ie active) and a Fender Jazz Bass Mexico (ie passive): a ring! and without making head!

I use it for a warm rock sound with a little growl and much pchu (think heavy blues-rock with a lot of down), or for one's own funky / fusion with super attacks playing on the r tings of AIGS. In both cases it works!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since December 2007. I love it!

It brought me the sound I was looking for months in a position to take direct home studio (bass warm and well Dfine, good attacks ...)

I use it as prampli / direct box on scne, it works really well trs, great sound and slap on the fingers.

My conclusion: not ncessaire if you have a good amp but great in cases where it must do so without amp, like record a demo, or live branch directly on the table.
Good booster / overdrive for pchus passages and / or slap.

The hardware a bit expensive but trssrieux, reliable, a pleasure to use!

I found nothing of equivalent quality, for me it is the best product of its range (but watch out Markbass a low prampli promises to be trs good too). I never recorded with such and such a easy! and in addition it is very small.

Plus goes, the more I know I'm not going to do without!

EDIT: December 2008: an APRS, always happy! with no problem, despite daily trimballages trs is always tough, it has become an essential elements of my hardware for recording and playing live.
