The manual is in English and German. So I was looking for a French manuelen on the net. It helped me understand what button does what. But it can be used without a manual.

OVERALL OPINION
Here is a DI which more than filled his role. I have a Cort active branch that I live on my Yamaha sound. The result was not bad, especially with the subwoofer. But not great. Tired and heavy equipment therefore no question of wearing a bass amp and more than 35 kg! So I bought (after reading different opinions) that DI Hartke. The sound of my bass has changed dramatically for the better. Now my Cort "has everything a high." It can have a round and velvety, a harsh and severe acute that his strong attack (including slap) or only a very saturated. on the other hand I do not use the side of my active pickups unless I sound very saturated. And thanks to the DI preamp, I no longer need to mistreat my pulling strings like a savage out to make a big sound, now I can touch the strings you hear me! In short, this DI is that happiness and low price is a treat. Used phantom power is great, no need to store batteries. Good workmanship, looks very solid. Only downside, given the large number of knob, there is a possibility of infinite settings pretty useless. Better the more than less. A buy without regrets!
