help required Spark noise interference during recording

I have a Presonus STUDIO 1824c, I have been using it for several years. Now when I am recording using it, it is often interrupted by a sound like spark and eventually it gets stuck. I have to close and reopen my PreSonus, but this happens often when I use it to make recordings. If I use it to just listen to the sound, it is OK.
