Tascam is attending Summer NAMM until tonight where they introduced the DA-3000 digital recorder and AD/DA converter.
The Tascam DA-3000 allows for recording audio to SDHC and Compact Flash cards in stereo PCM 192kHz and DSD 5.6MHz formats.
The 1U rackable recorder features XLR and RCA analogue inputs and outputs, as welle as coaxial RCA S/PDIF and XLR AES/EBU digital inputs and outputs. BNC SDIF-3 inputs an outputs are also available for DSD digital connections. A USB port allows for audio file playback only.
The DA-3000 is equipped is a 128 × 64 color OLED display for the most important playback and recording information view, as well as a 24-dot level meter.
Tascam adds that it is possible to chain multiple DA-3000 in case you need more inputs and outputs for multitrack recording.
