Remic Microphones offers a versatile collection of specific instrument-dedicated condenser microphones handcrafted in Denmark.

Except for a prototype drumset 7-mic set currently available for $5,600, all other Remic models are dedicated to classical instruments. Their collection currently includes models for the bratsch/viola, violin/viola, double bass and cello/violone, each available in two variations (one for live use, the other for studio recording) with in every case a unique price of $900. Kits dedicated to string quartets are also available for $3,800 (all prices exclude sales taxes if applicable).

The brand is also currently preparing a Kickstarter to fund its next release, the W3000, a condenser microphone for brass and woodwind instruments announced as easy to mount and unmount while providing an accurate and natural sound response with high feedback suppression.

More details to come when the operation actually starts (which should be in early January), in the meantime you can discover the entire range of Remic products at www.remic.dk.
