How long you use it?

I use it for 7 years now with a Mapex Pro M in a set of cymbals made of zildjan and sabian. 1 hh Z Mastersound 13 "K custom fast crash a 17" dark crash a Z custom 18 "sabian splash and 2 O-zone by 8" and 10 "and a Chinese Sabian Hand Hammered 14".

What is so special that you love the most, least?

What I prefer in this cymbal is the possibility to benefit from three different sonoritées distinct.

The party ride is exceptionally smooth and lends itself to jazz and music that requires some control.

The inner darker part ride when she has left us with a distinct ping drier than outdoor partners and can interpret the rock without worry.

When a bell is fairly dry with a nice ping has low volume and it sends quite a dice that he can fit in it.

What I like least is its weight. It is quite thick and very heavy but it's also what makes its charm. It is indeed surprising to be able to have as much sound as thick on a ride.

Did you tried many other models before buying it?

I tried a bunch of other models before I decide (thank you to the Baguetterie and its wide range of cymbals that can be tried in real conditions) and at the time I wanted a good ride cymbal go anywhere I could keep long. And that's exactly what it does.

How would you rate the quality / price?

You pay the brand Sabian is the name of and on the cymbal. But it is damn time. I do not know if it is still distributed as it was costing quite expensive at the time and I think a lot of copies were sold which is surprising considering the quality of the cymbal. It will become a cymbal collection over time no doubt.

With experience, you do again this choice? ...

At the same time since I played everything I would have redone this choice without hesitation. But now I play a lot of loud music, punk, hardcore, metal and unfortunately it is not the most appropriate for this style of music (at least that's my opinion that you can be all it can to is there to lend). Therefore I will not delay investing in new equipment more adapted to this style but it is likely that I keep this cymbal for my old days where I basculerais again in musical styles and softer requiring more finesse.
