[Musikmesse] Roland FP-50 & 80 digital pianos

Along with the BK-9, Roland will go to Musikmesse next week with two new FP-50 and FP-80 digital pianos.

The FP-50 is a portable 88-key digital piano equipped with an Ivory Feel G keybed and a SuperNATURAL sound engine. Along with the grand piano sound, it provides electric and vintage pianos, organs, strings, synths… sounds as well as 90 “Rhythm” accompaniments, each with two variations, for every music style.

Features offered on this keyboard include key transposition, time stretch, Center Cancel for attenuating vocals or a solo part, SMF files support and audio recording.

The FP-50 features speakers, headphones and stereo outputs, as well as a USB port for using accompaniment WAV files. The keyboard can also be used with an iPad via the Roland Wireless Connect protocol and the USB-WiFi WNA1100-RL adapter (sold separately).

The Roland FP-80 digital piano has the same specifications as the FP-50, but includes 4 speakers which, used with the Acoustic Projection technology, allow for a “3D” sound restitution. This keyboard also features a Chord Pattern function that plays pre-programmed chord progressions, and a microphone input with harmony effect controlled by the chords.

Both digital pianos are available in black and white finishes, and ship with the DP-10 pedal. They can be completed by the optional RPU-3 pedals and stands.
