BaseHead Inc. has announced Version 2.0 of their Sound Library program.
According to BaseHead, their program is used by Sound Designers and FX Editors in the Film, Music and Game Industry around the world for searching, auditioning and organizing sound libraries with metadata.
The improved engine is designed to make it easy to search through and listen to 1000s of Audio files to find the exact ones you are looking. Once found you can then transfer the whole sound or just a selection into your Digital Audio Workstation of choice.
Version 2.0 adds new features including:
- Waveform caching w/ Slip Silence playback
- Multichannel file playback
- Music MP3 ID3 support
- 49 fields of viewable Meta-Data
- File Browser and metadata Tag Viewer windows
- A Pitch Slider
- Quick switching between databases
- Multi-line BEXT support in Tag Viewer
- Reaper and Vegas target app support now added
- SoundMiner metadata import from BWAV’s
- Injects added descriptions back into the BWAV files
- Can be used to replace WMP as your default media player now
- Multiple skins and more
