Chicken Systems has announced the release of new updates for Translator: v5.9.0.76 for Mac OS X and v2.9.0.124 for Windows.

New Source Formats:
  • Sonoma Wireworks DrumCore.

New Destination Formats:
  • Sonoma Wireworks DrumCore.
  • Roland S-7x (Mac).
  • WAVE/AIFF/KSF/SND only (Mac).

Mac OS X New Features and Fixes:
  • Added support for writing Akai, Roland, Ensoniq, and Emu disks.
  • Added support for creating Akai Volumes, Ensoniq Directories, and Emu Folders.
  • Added support for deleting Akai Volumes and Programs, Ensoniq Directories and Files, and Emu Folders and Banks.
  • Updated interface for Leopard compatibility and look/feel.
  • Updated several FileType icons.
  • Fixed several ->MV8000 issues.
  • Fixed several Structure issues.
  • Lots of internal maintenance.

Windows New Features and Fixes:
  • Added Bias Modulator functionality; add Modulators mid-translation.
  • Added Structure Knob support, Knob labeling, with Initial Values.
  • Added Structure support for the Logo under PATCH COPYRIGHT.
  • Added better authorization security.
  • Added Support features – Email, Chat, Forum – from application.
  • Improved Check For Update feature.
  • Fixed some instances of ->MPC-1000 conversion errors.
  • Improved ->MPC-1000 .pgm conversions.
  • Internal maintenance.
