IPM

- Simpler array for MIDI (1 IN port, No THRU, but 2 OUT ports)
- Very stingy with audio output (Unless you can find a used MV-OPT6 card for sale, which adds 6 more Analog OUT, 1 COAX digital IN, 1 Optical Digital IN and an R-Buss connector for more digital connectivity to other Roland "R-Buss equipped " gear)
- A very good effect processor
- The sounds are good, especially those that I mete it!
- Editable sounds
- Works without ordo, except for transferring my samples
- A sequencer that I would call the real killer!!
UTILIZATION
simple but not vraiement frankly not so complicated, when one comes to MPC anyway! (Contrary to what I've read here and there)
The manual is good, usual functions are not easy to find at first post ... must use the machine for the master and especially want
it suits me perfectly
SOUNDS
and yes even though I'm pretty house! term good, the pads can be a little too sensitive (normal I went through R8 at roland pad to drive!)
very good effects
it's 16 bit 44kHz, personally I work in this format so no problem for me, then there will always be those who are 96 or 24 ... 192
but on my side, it hits hard even very strong
OVERALL OPINION
few weeks
tried many models say, quite a lot of sampler and bar, some MPC. you have to see this machine as a great sequencer, this is not really an MPC and he must be aware.
after the options with the VGA and mouse are multipliers. But much to say right now, if you have a laptop with ableton sft type and a small controller, the interret be pretty useless
However, if you do not want computer, a machine built like a tank (just the transport keys ... it explodes any control surface today and it feels not plastoc) while wanting to work as a patient on the pace and not necessarily on sound then this machine is for you
I put him 9 because it lacks the separate outputs and functions quelqes facade ... but it is magical (especially Grid mode / step sequencer)
