The sax Conn instruments are superb, as altos tenors (I never tried a soprano). Models known as Chu Berry and Lady Face (in fact: 10 million) worth their reputation. They are found usually at the same price that Selmer made since the 80's or some Yamaha or Yanagisawa. The Conn has the advantage of not being copies of French and have a sound all their own, appreciated by all players in jazz, rock, pop ... The ergonomics of these instruments is different (keys for notes low), but it is fast.
From the 60s (I did not more accurately), Conn sax produces holes with study notes serious droite.Rien to do with the excellence of previous instruments.
