Hello,
I 'used for almost 10 years this MODEL In Selmer saxophone, saxophone this super action 80 SERIES II, for me, this is THE REFERENCE in terms of acoustics, Sonora to touch. I tried various MODELS, instruments Yamaha, Yanagisawa, Jupiter (and yes ...) through the Spanish brands rcente (Gold) not well distributed in France.
Voila months 4 months I change my hardware and my choice was naturally directed to the Selmer saxophone SERIES II. Yet it's not for lack of trying other models of Selmer, the partiuculirement SrieIII but also the brand new saxophone REFERENCE ... It is true, the varnish is often Selmer point the finger, but it is the same for all manufacturers. Personally, I found the trick wipe off the instrument using APRS chauqe! it sounds a little rdibitoire, but it is the insurance to keep a perfect polish!
Its main competitor, none other than the Selmer SERIES III, is - in my opinion - far from the sound quality of the SERIES II.
Really, I do not regret my choice, Selmer SERIES II, for me it's the saxophone, the only one who can restore what our ears Its so enjoyable! Pleasure!
