Published on 05/07/11 at 03:01I use this saxophone for 8 years now, I switched to the tenor of the professional but I have yet to change the budget for this one.
I tried many other saxophones including Mark 6 and other top sax lines and the big difference between these saxophones and a 3000 € to 1000 € mine lies in the "strength "the saxophone with the Yamaha it seems to have a saxophone a bit" empty ", which is felt elsewhere in the bass tend to sound hollow, the other sax give a better impression of solidity.
What I like most about this sax is his relative speed of play, but after that depends on a sax to another, another point is that it's been 8 years since I and I ' I never had big problems with, just re-buffer again.
In conclusion, this saxophone has a value great price even though there may be better at Stagg for example, but this sax is a great value and is an instrument entirely correct.
