« very good instrument »
Published on 07/17/12 at 14:34After playing my first three years of study on a Buffet-Crampon (ideal for beginners who have not yet ear) I bought this saxophone and I have not changed since (15 years!).
I opted for the sax on the advice of my teacher at the conservatory for less than a Selmer, and excellent sound quality, sometimes better than the 80 Superaction Selmer home if it is maintained properly (regular review required ).
The choice of the beak is paramount, this is the first investment to make for any saxophone whatsoever. My teacher made me buy the first months a Selmer mouthpiece that I use ever since.
