To redo history beginning: Low to China Girl t-test in our workshop before sending Bass Center.
Bass Center also test this low before putting it on the shelf. The client test low in store and it suited him.
Three months later she contacted us and Bass Center on a problem from the pots that work but the curve would be "more like at the beginning."
We propose in agreement with the client Bass Center amne low to the store for a change in the pots. Those are remplacs by CTS (CTS as the brand of reference in this area).

Three months later she recontacted us to explain that again, the pots works but their curve is not correct.
We advised him to do directly with Bass Center but what she describes can not really happen. If an electronic Schematic is done well, the only problem maybe welds that cowardly or otherwise. And this time the sound is cut off or the pots no longer work. But does not change the pots alone curve. It does not pass linear logarithmic alone.

UTILIZATION

I find the handle very nice, the slides alone.
Access to extra treble is simple (as SG requires ...)
The head tends to bite down, but it's not really a problem, it is still a little sore shoulder after one hour, but nothing scary.
Fairly simple to use, 3 mic positions are quite efficient and give depth to the game

SOUNDS

So I got it for Christmas this year, I bring my amp and plugged the beast and magic! Its rings! and even better ... it sounds really good! lol! My amp is a Hohner Panther home (you can check out the gear on this site ... not very conclusive ...), the sound that came out was rich in harmonic, although clear round, I put the overdrive on the way: I was amazed, my amp did not have this sound! A distortion that potatoes, that reacts and sounds like something! Back home, I was able to take all day to Angus Young! However, a sound that had never been too accessible ... Finally thank you for this little 77 Custom Gift! I also tried to empty the beast to let my family sleep in peace ... Wow! Beautiful, is not the violin will ruin the sound, quite the contrary ... I even thought it's empty there was so much reverb and the sound was echoed lens!
Being a fan of 80s Hard Rock (AC / DC, KISS, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Trust, ...) I was looking for his type "So British", I found the guitar, I miss more than the amp = P

OVERALL OPINION

I was trying the twin guitar at the Epiphone, I decided to really test after taking the Custom 77 that I found much more sympathetic to the level of play

I expect Mr. Custom 77 (Jerome for short) is preparing a little China Girl larger!

EDIT: After several months of dedicated service ... the beast is still with me and hopefully for long! I'll just change it to a P90 pickup in order to have a bluesy sound more defined and more attack!
Having bought an amplifier 15 W lamps while later, I could test it from every angle and put the same compared to a Gibson SG standard in ... the answer: as well as a standard SG! Just the handle is different because it is bigger on the gibson and the frets are not the same, but at sonoritées, I was amazed as to not feel the difference between C77 and Gibson (I prefer the C77 even more ^ ^).

UTILIZATION

It has a handle type SG, very pleasing to the touch, which slides very, very well. The game is flexible, the notes are played aisment ... A game smooth and comfortable.

OVERALL OPINION

Used extensively for the past two weeks, I am delighted with this guitar.
His sound crunch and distortion drives me up the ceiling, only small BMOL that I have found this little (nothing scary, but it must be specific on) loss of breath into play clean, which n is not my, nor his, favorite fields, and small dsquilibre makes the game a long hard tiring.

Meanwhile, comparing the competition, one gets the best copy of Gibson SG's market. It's a totally subjective opinion, but shared by all those with whom I discussed and which possdent, or have at least tried.

I have long hesitate between the CS2 and the Epiphone G-400. Looking back now, I would not waste time looking at what is left is right to compare models: I would take the CS2 without an ounce of hsitation!

Probably not the best guitar of all time, but in any case, without doubt, the best SG of its price range.

APRS almost 2 years of loyal service, I finally sold my CS2 ... for another CS2! The new satin finish Gothic Brown proposes the brand had really tap into the eye, so I sold my CS2 to offer me one. If on this final is more affluent (binding key, large pickguard ...) nevertheless have the sound remains the same. The handle has changed between time t, from a C a U profile of Gibson, the silent the only thing that was missing from the resale of my Gibson ... So I am now a happy guitarist. My CS2 is perfect for me and I'll keep it very long.

I think possibly just a change of microphones, as Modern77 very versatile, but it is ultimately not what I asked, I would like him to fit in most pickups. But only compared my tastes, they are perfect for the big rock, but a little pchent by their lack of output level for saturation of the large spot, they fill with a lack very good precision.
