« Red hot and looking for love »

The Gibson SG is one of the most easily recognizable instruments in the world. It has a very distinct look that is somewhat of a cross between Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Stratocaster guitar. It has two cutaways much like a Fender Stratocaster guitar however it doesn't have the different lengths of the horns. It's a perfectly balanced and even instrument from top to bottom left right. Very great sound and it's extremely Gibson and its overall makeup in town.

SOUNDS

I love the tone of these guitars because it have a very sick and warm woody tone. Primarily because of the mahogany wood that is used throughout this instrument in the body and in the neck you getting very thick juicy warm tone. The body is a little bit thinner than a Gibson Les Paul guitar and a little bit thinner tone as well that has a little bit more focused tone. It's not as thick as a Gibson Les Paul but it still carries that nice woody warm tone.

OVERALL OPINION

These guitars can be found pretty much anywhere you look for Gibson instruments. To go along right with the Gibson Les Paul and Gibson explore product lines. You can find them in a cheap versions from 800 Dollars all way up to $3000 and then sometimes even more if it's a signature guitar. The matter which when you look for most of them carry about the same tone overall but they will different and feel and comfort ability. Either great instruments for digging a recording and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nice warm woody tone.
