Small-diaphragm condenser microphone.
For specifications, its passage hyper-cardio cardio is quite useful if you want more or less capture the mood of a scene or you can just select a clear voice. Lacks a bit of power without phantom power: 7/10 in features.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 years now. It was the first microphone I bought. My goal at the time was to use a microphone to properly capture the voices on a shoot. I immediately had a big problem with him namely power. Useless to try to connect your microphone to your computer to record on Audacity will not get anything ... You always need a recorder (Personal: numeric Tascam DR-07) and then connect it to your camera. I subsequently bought a phantom power and this time the sound was already much better. However, a problem still persists ... I do not get a clear, clean and perfectly audible. I can not seem to get a bass sound that has stifled a sort of "voice bubble". However, if we can have a technician perch close enough players the sound is acceptable or even good for amateurism. His strong point? good quality when holding the microphone to his mouth. Ideal for a story, an interview or a voice recording, t-bone EM9600 will default when you though you will have to remove a little of the sound source.
