I use it for about 5 years (on my DW) super happy and contrary to what you hear with a muted style remo on the drum head is slamming sound without harmonic and specific costs it avoids to take chad Smtih because obviously without this accessory the sound is really attributed to the famous drummer of Red Hot .... but very nice we will not deny it (especially if you buy a sign. Chad S.) harmonic desire to beat if one may say so for a clear and remarkable. So basically depending on the settings and accessories it's more versatile than you think and it is this feature (with surprise) that I like the most. price / quality ratio! well we can hardly do better, more efficient and robust than good surprises.
The choice earlier than 2 times without hesitation

It's been three years since I sound like a lot less I like the look the lack of versatility. (Hard to play anything but rock (in fact it goes all right but often it lacks depth for Other style)
I bought the Baguetterie 300 euros (with a house and more-> super promo) At this price the report qualitprix carément is good (it's still the pearl signature)
I have a skin rises above ca evans but it worked a lot better now with remo I will test soon

DRUM & DRUM AGAIN!!

I use this snare drum a few years now. I absolutely love the richness of its sound: it is metal, so with great force, and many harmonics. Can be mitigated, depending on the setting and the skins used, but it was really what I wanted, a high-pitched, clear and powerful and really recognizable. The rim shots are second to none! I tried several other models before buying, but I really cracked on it because of its affordability and what the very rich. Of course, this is not the high end of the snare, and it is not without flaws (the patch tends to curl a little, but again a good setting is used to mitigate). The value is the most honest!
This snare is exactly what I wanted: a compromise between the high-pitched sounds and packed with harmonic and power and projection due to the thickness of 5. "It is a snare to try, the choice will depend on final taste. So for me, yes, I would do this choice!
