I bought it to have more depth to my snare (and a bit to look, to go with my TAMA BMB ^ ^).
Never had a problem with, though robust, no need to readjust regularly.
Using a ring to not be bothered by harmonics.
I remake this choice without hesitation (except perhaps for a deeper CC).
