Available in Native and SoundGrid formats for Mac and Windows, the EMI TG12345 plug-in reproduces the dynamic and EQ as well as all the controls and circuits, including hums and noises, of one channel strip of the first EMI solid-state console, which was used for the Beatles’ Abbey Road album recordings.
The EMI TG12345 plug-in GUI features a dynamics section with compressor and limiter, an equalizer with “cassettes” (channel strips) low and high bands and the Presence band from the main/group section, VU-meters and three routing options for choosing the order of the EQ, compressor/limiter and presence.
The EMI TG12345 plug-in can operate in mono or stereo, with a Drive control for each channel. A Spreak knob and a Noise adjustment are also included, as well as a high-pass filter on the compressor sidechain, a mix control for the dynamics section for parallel compression, new features added by Waves, and you can choose the type of “cassette” between Duo, Stereo and M/S.
The EMI TG12345 plug-in is available for the introductory price of $99 instead of $200 for the Native version and $149 instead of $300 for the SoundGrid edition. If you use the Abbey Road Collection, you get an additional discount. Visit www.waves.com for more info.
