Equilibrium is based on digital EQ curves, vintage EQ circuit modeling, and offers a parametric filter section with different types (Buttersworth, Chebyshev, Bessel, elliptical, all-pass…) and resonance sweep, as well as several high-pass, low-pass, shelves, bells and notches.
The full customizable GUI features a polarity control for the 32 EQ bands, with shortcuts to Linear, Analogue and Minimum modes. An analyzer is also included with a spectrograph, a LED clipping meter and a full control section is dedicated to impulse responses.
Equilibrium includes Mis/Side and Left/Right processing up to 7.1 surround with a channel group matrix.
Equilibrium will be available in 32 and 64-bit VST, AAX and AU formats as well as in 32-bit RTAS format for Mac OS X and Windows.
Its price and availability have still to be announced, but DMG Audio will shortly offer a demo version on its website.
